A Gypsy singer and dancer of Kalderash origin, Marcela Cisarova trained for two years at the Romathan school in Slovakia, the only public theatre founded by the Roma community in Europe.
When she arrived in France, she collaborated with the choreographer Petia Iourtchenko and joined her company: Romano Atmo. A few years later, Marcela took flight by participating in the creation of the company Terne Roma dedicated to the promotion of Gypsy dance.
In 2014, she met a guitarist named Benny who was already working with the group Aalma Dili. With him, Marcela will open a new chapter in the development of her career: this is where the MARCELA adventure begins.
She is a Gypsy, her musicians are « gadjes ». Nevertheless, they meet around the love they have for the music they compose together and their respective singular paths. Surrounded by her new family, Marcela sings of exile, tells of her uprooting and makes her misfortunes dance with her powerful voice enveloped in Slavic sweetness and melancholy. Together, they offer a powerful reflection on cultural diversity and the need to live together despite differences.
The group MARCELA released a first album in 2015 entitled « Murchale » whose 14 tracks will make everyone agree: Marcela’s voice and the festive energy of her musicians are a real invitation to dance, to effervesce and to unite.

Chanteuse et danseuse Tsigane d’origine Kalderash, Marcela Cisarova suit une formation de deux ans au sein de l’école Romathan en Slovaquie, unique théâtre public fondé par la communauté Rom d’Europe.
Arrivée en France, elle collabore avec la chorégraphe Petia Iourtchenko et intègre sa compagnie : Romano Atmo. Quelques années plus tard, Marcela prend son envol en participant à la création de la compagnie Terne Roma dédiée à la promotion de la danse Tsigane.
En 2014, elle rencontre un guitariste nommé Benny qui œuvre déjà au sein du groupe Aalma Dili. À ses côtés, Marcela va ouvrir un nouveau chapitre dans le développement de sa carrière : c’est ici que commence l’aventure MARCELA.
Elle est Tsigane, ses musiciens sont « gadjés ». Ils se retrouvent néanmoins autour de l’amour qu’ils portent à la musique qu’ils composent ensemble et leurs parcours singuliers respectifs. Entourée de sa nouvelle famille, Marcela chante l’exil, raconte son déracinement et fait danser les malheurs de sa voix puissante enveloppée par la douceur et la mélancolie Slave. Ensemble, ils proposent une réflexion percutante sur la diversité culturelle et la nécessité de vivre unis malgré les différences.
Le groupe MARCELA a sorti un premier album en 2015 intitulé « Murchale » dont les 14 titres mettront tout le monde d’accord : la voix de Marcela et l’énergie festive de ses musiciens sont une réelle invitation à la danse, à l’effervescence et à l’unification.
